High Silver, High Strength, Spherical Amalgam
Lojic+ is a platinum-modified, high-silver, non-gamma 2 spherical amalgam known for its exceptional early strength and smooth handling. Since its global release in 1988, over 30 million successful Lojic+ restorations have been placed. This amalgam features excellent polishability and homogeneous mixing, making it easy to load, condense, burnish, and carve. The Dental Advisor reported no marginal ridge fractures upon matrix removal, and 90% of its consultants found the amalgam’s consistency and capsule-to-capsule uniformity to be excellent. Lojic+ also facilitates easier establishment of proximal contacts compared to other single-composition spherical alloys.

Low Microleakage and High Compressive Strength
Lojic+ is recognized for its significantly lower microleakage compared to other spherical alloys, which helps reduce the risk of post-operative sensitivity. Its high compressive strength ensures that restorations are tough, durable, and long-lasting, minimizing the risk of fracturing. The amalgam offers a greater choice of setting times and capsule sizes, making it easier to handle large restorations without difficulty. The addition of platinum further enhances its compressive and tensile strengths, contributing to its superior performance.

Conventional Capsules
Lojic+ conventional capsules come with plungers that denote the spill size, with the 5 spill option available only in the regular set. The remaining part of the capsule indicates the setting speed, providing options to suit various restoration needs. This design allows for flexible application, ensuring that the composite can be tailored to different procedural requirements.
